For issue #32 of Apartamento Magazine, I wrote a love letter to the island I grew up on. The subject of the article was Chinese Canadian Ceramic artist Wayne Ngan. For the piece I interviewed his daughters Goya and Gailan, and covered the back-to-the-land ethos of Wayne, and Hornby Island at large. The article was set to archival imagery I collected from Ngan estate and family.
